Book Baby

I was doing some test shots today and had Little Guy help me out.  After a few minutes, he got bored and went into his room.  A few minutes later he came back with one of his very favorite things: a book.  He sat back down and had a great time while I quietly snapped away.  This Boy LOVES books.  He will look through them for hours, and has a bag that he carries his favorite one around with him.  What a Cutie!

For Valentines Day cards this year I made these bookmark shaped cards.  The girls put on the "To" and "From" and added them to a little bag filled with Hersey's Kisses.  From what I hear, they were the hit of the class!

This year I decided to do one card to send out to family of all 3 kids.  I tried the "postcard" sized at my printer.  And, while I love the size and love my paper choice, I decided that it was just a tad bit to flimsy to trust to my local postal workers, so I ended up putting them in envelopes anyways.  I LOVE how they turned out!  

I also did a version for each of the girls for their Valentines parties.  Look for those sometime next week...after they are all put together!

Fall fun

This was a session that I did back in November.  I have known this family, well, as long as they have been a family!  "Mom" is my cousin!  So, we go waaaaaaay back!  When they oldest two were just babies I babysat them every day for one summer.  It was so much fun!  Now here they are all grown up and going on missions for their church.  Way to make a girl feel old!  It has been so fun to watch all of them grow up into such talented, adorable, and fun young adults!  Oh, and speaking of "cute" my 5 year old has developed quite the crush on oldest brother!  She carries their Christmas card around and tells everyone that he is her boyfriend!!  Aye Aye Aye!

I have been dying to share this image.  I had this idea in mind..and was able to snap this pic when doing a Halloween photo shoot with Little Man.  I framed it and gave this to Hubby for Christmas.  Love!

I first met this family a year and a half ago when Little Girl was almost 1.  It has been fun to watch her grow up from just crawling around, to extremely shy, to little Miss Sassy!  What an adorable girl so full of personality!  And yes, I thinks he does have that Daddy of her's wrapped around her little finger!  

A Christmas Session...

One of my favorite things about Holiday Sessions is the guarantee of seeing some of my favorite clients.  If I haven't seen them sometime throughout the year it is always a special treat to see how much their cute kiddo's have grown and changed over the year!  The W family was my very first clients 4 years ago.  A free photo session on Craigslist has turned into a treasured friendship.  I simply adore this family.  Mom is such a great Mom.  You can see it in how well behaved her children are!  You couldn't ask for more photogenic, friendly, well behaved kids to photograph!  Of course, it doesn't hurt that Miss Teresa always has skittles tucked away in her pockets for good smiles!  And those kids sure keep me on my toes reminding me that they have earned another skittle!  Thanks for making my job so enjoyable W family!
