Happy Valentines Day!!!

Happy Valentines Day!  

This year I decided to do one card to send out to family of all 3 kids.  I tried the "postcard" sized at my printer.  And, while I love the size and love my paper choice, I decided that it was just a tad bit to flimsy to trust to my local postal workers, so I ended up putting them in envelopes anyways.  I LOVE how they turned out!  

I also did a version for each of the girls for their Valentines parties.  Look for those sometime next week...after they are all put together!

BABY P

Well, hello there!  I hope you are all enjoying the Christmas season!  I have had a lot of sessions the last month or so that I am dying to share....But, I never want to spoil the surprise of someone's Christmas card before they get a chance to send them out!  So, instead, I will share with you this little doll!  

Baby P is 6 months old and was such a delight to shoot!  We opted for a "lifestyle" session in Baby P's house.  These are some of my favorite to shoot.  It seem like the babies especially are so much more comfortable in their own environment and they warm up to the idea of a big black eye ball in their faces a lot faster ;c)  Baby P was full of smiles and very inquisitive!  Such a cute baby!

I usually lean towards color in my editing.  But, I just converted these all to Black and White for the cd, and I fell in love them them as well!  So, I decided to stray from my norm and post the session entirely in black and white!  Crazy times I tell ya! ;c)  (Oh, and it looks as though Blogger has gone and changed itself up again so parts of my photos or cut off!  Grrrr.  Guess I will have to find the time to figure that out later!)

Baby Boy is 1! {Albuquerque baby photographer}

My little guy turned "1" the end of May.  It took me nearly a month to finally get around to taking his pictures!  By then he had started fully crawling and had gotten his first little bitty front tooth!  Baby is not at all small...he was 27 pounds at his 1 year appointment!  But, since he is missing most his teeth and I have to lug him around everywhere he is still my baby!  I just love this little guy to pieces!


Can you see itty bitty tooth there bottom front??  If you strain maybe?Blowing raspberries.  A favorite past time.We see a lot of this look lately!Fortunately a lot of this look too!He also loves to eat.  Shocker, no?

And, this is the view I get most often!!

Coming up next: "He loves me.  He loves me not."

9 months

"Little" guy is now 9 months old!  I can't believe he has been "here" as long as he was in my tummy!  It sure has gone a lot faster on the flip side!  "Little" guy isn't so little!  He is 30.5" and weighs 23 pounds!  I keep getting told that he is going to be a football player, but both his older sisters were about that big, and they haven't taken on a football player look!  Although S was quite excited that she was the 2nd tallest in her class picture!  "Little" guy loves to blow raspberries, loves to eat (ya think?), and is starting to get ready to crawl.  He recently has started to roll over (Hey!  Its hard getting that big body all the way over!) and the last few nights in bed he has rolled to his tummy...and then gotten stuck....and cried out for help!  While it was cute the first few time, it is time to learn how to get back over!  He likes to chatter "Da-da-da-da" but when he is mad or in a pickle its, "MAAAAAAAAA!!!!!".  Yeah, he knows who comes to the rescue in the middle of the night ;c)


I have recently been redecorating my family room.  I have a vintage beach look and wanted some vintage beach pictures of the kids to put up next to some framed Aloha shirts.  It is kind of hard to do vintage beach in 1-New Mexico in 2-the middle of winter...so I make did with what I had....  When "little" guy was born I bought him some really cute surf outfits for this coming summer on clearance.  He is NOW wearing the 18 month size I thought would work for his 1 year b-day...  And, as you can imagine, it is a little too cold for beach ware.  So, at least I will have these pictures of the cute clothes, even if he might not get to wear them this summer!!

This adorable hat was given to little guy when he was born.  I kept checking to see if it fit...and last time I checked it was still waaaaaay to big.  As I was swapping out his clothes the other day I tried it on, and its almost too small!!!

Just as well, I don't think he would keep it on anyways!

Little Man is 3 months! {Albuquerque kid photographer}

Little Man just turned 3 months on Thursday. So, I thought it was a perfect excuse to break out the camera and get some of his chubby cheek goodness caught on film (so to speak). I had a hard time deciding between color and black and white...in the end I decided to go with timeless b&w and I threw one color one in there because his shirt and the blanket matched so well!

Summers Past

So...its been forever!  Having two older almost totally self sufficient kids made me forget how much time newborns actually take out of your day!  So, it has taken me quite some time to get these photos edited and posted, but here they are!


















Little Man had a bit of a rocky start with acid reflex and an ear infection, but I am happy to report that he seems to be on the mend and most days is happy as a lark.  He is ten weeks and already weighs 13.5 pounds!  I am sure there will be pictures to follow...someday!
