Week 4

Angelic

Sometimes I think that there is nothing more precious than a sleeping child.  Its like you can see their true spirit shinning through and amidst all the chaos that is life, you can get a small glimpse of heaven.  


This picture was taken on the first night my baby slept without her bink.  This is only the second time I had seen her asleep without it in her mouth (the first time was a few months ago and I checked to make sure she was still breathing!)!  She is growing up way to fast!

Week 3

Its rough being two.

Ballet

I did this collage for a flier for my little girls ballet class.  My kids love to have their pictures taken, really they do.  Because I bribe them with all sorts of goodies.  Don't all kids?  She was such a good trooper, as was her little sister who was sporting the tutu (while older sister was dying of mortification because she was wearing her ballet clothes UNDER normal clothes in a totally secluded spot!).  I am really digging the vintage look.

Week 2

Adoration

January blues

I am not a fan of January (except for my Hubby's b-day-Happy B-day sweetie!!).  It is depressing, dull, and drab.  Although, I must admit, January isn't nearly as bad here in the land of sun. Being able to drive around with the sun roof open does improve my mood!

I have been keeping busy practicing, editing, and growing (as well as trying to put the house back in order after the Christmas chaos!).  I have so much that I would love to share with you all!  But, for now, I will just leave you with this little gem.  I just love the winterey feel, especially with the light snow falling.

Makes me want to fire up the ol' Cocoamotion and have me some candy cane hot chocolate!  Yum!

Looking Forward

I am really excited when I look ahead to this new year.  I have got so many new idea for Lazy Daisy Design that I can't wait to start them all!  I will be slowing down my shooting this January to really try and focus (ha, no pun intended!) on some of the more technical aspects.  I will be saving room for a few shoots, so if you are interested let me know!  And, I am currently booking for Spring.  Thanks for all of you who have continued to support and check up on me!  As always, feel free to leave comments!  As my friend recently said, " It just makes me feel like someone is out there and I'm not talking to myself,".  Happy New Year!!!

Project 52: Week 1

This year I am going to work on a project.  I got this idea from another photographer and I am going to adapt it for myself.  I call it Project 52.  Each week, for the next year, I am going to take a picture and post it.  Sometimes it will come with an explanation, other times it wont.  But, it will never be just a snap shot.  Thereby making it something that I have to think about.  It will always be something meaningful to me at the time.  I am really excited, it should be fun!  I hope that you will check in with me every week and let me know what you think!

The start of a brand new year!  Playing in the freshly fallen snow!  My little girl's silly grin!  All things that bring a glow to January.
