The C family

One thing I noticed while editing these pictures was the difference in the fall colors here and in Utah, where I came from.  In Utah, you look to the mountains for the first of the fall colors.  In Albuquerque, you look down to the river!  Those trees are so pretty right now.....

One of the hardest things I have to do as a photographer is to narrow down the preview picture amount when I have a family as cute as this one!  I could have put the whole session on for a preview, but then there would be no anticipation coming to my house to view their pictures!  I met with the cute little C family and we had a lot of fun in the lovely fall colors.  It was a fun evening, thanks so much C family...and Grandma C too!

How many 3 month olds do you know that can sit up by themselves?? :cD  I love the vintage tint on all the truck pictures, especially this one!

The cute little W family

I was so excited when Mom W contacted me for a Christmas mini session.  I took her kids pictures a few months ago!  My first return clients!  Yippee!  Plus, Mom W and her kids are A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E.  I just love them!  The leafs are just starting to turn here and it was a beautiful day down by the river!  Mom W, I am glad that you didn't make me pick the ones for you cd, there were far too many that I love! 

This one is color tinted.  I had a hard time deciding between it and full color, because the reds are so vibrant...but went with some variety!

It's Wednesday.  The rain seems to have let up.  The work week is almost half over.  Ahhhh.....

Fall Fun!

While my parent were in town last weekend we were going to go take some family photos.  "The best laid plans...."  Needless to say, that didn't happen.  Playing cards was much more fun!  So, today I took Baby K with me to scout out some spots for my fall mini sessions.  Since it is the same spot I want to do our family pics I decided to do some of K while we were there....  I just love this time of year!  Here in NM the leaves are just barely starting to change and they are so pretty....before they all drop off and the trees are ugly for a few months!  Oh well, gotta enjoy it while we can!  Baby K was a good sport and let me take a bunch of pictures of her (I think it had something to do with the candy I had stashed in my pocket-hey, whatever works!)......

I know some people hate it when photographers cut the tip tops of people's heads off...what about their whole heads??  Ha ha.  I was just so proud that she got some air!

 I love how the light is shining down right to her head....

The 2 yr old look

We have had company in town for the last week and so I took a week off!  It was nice, but I am ready to get back behind the lens!  Last night I was finding a picture for the hubby's laptop wallpaper and I ran across this little gem.  It was taken the week of the 4th of July, and it is a classic Baby K look....

Sweet Baby B

I got the chance to get my lens on this cute little guy the other morning.  Baby B was only 11 days old, and awake and hungry for the whole shoot!  What a little doll he is.  So sweet and small.  You forget how small newborns are....or maybe it is just that my newborns weren't all that small (8.8 and 9.2)!  He almost made me want another one...almost!  Thanks Baby B's Mom for letting me invade your house for a while!  Hope you like them....

Typical kid...we couldn't get him to look at the camera!  Oh well, it now you can see that great head of hair!
